CASE STUDIES

Challenge:
A new-to-the community businessman with an unknown brand wanted to launch a medical spa in Midtown Atlanta
with only a small public relations budget. The client wanted the reach to spread throughout Atlanta's sprawling metro
area, to neighboring states and beyond.

Solution:
MR-PR took a grassroots approach to the overall campaign, creating a list of Influencers to target to help spread the
word. Through a series of six early September Influencer parties at the almost-completed spa, buzz was created
around the grand opening set for late September. The Influencers were carefully selected to represent each area
of town along with social, charitable, business, civic and political clout. The Concierge Society of Atlanta was hosted
at the new spa, along with the spa's immediate neighbors. All food and beverage for each party was provided by
sponsors, who were solicited by MR-PR, resulting in no-cost or low-cost events. A simultaneous media relations
campaign was executed, beginning with one-on-one tours of the spa by the owner.

By the time the grand opening event occurred, there were numerous requests for invitations by people who had
heard or read about Blue MedSpa. MR-PR garnered a free radio promotion on Star 94 FM by securing two of the
morning show hosts as emcees for the grand opening event, and a free ad in Atlanta Magazine in return for their
sponsorship. Other than word of mouth, coverage generated by the media relations campaigns includes the Atlanta
Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Magazine, Sunday Paper, PaperCity Magazine, Atlanta Style
& Design Magazine, Points North Magazine, Deep Magazine, Travel Girl Magazine, Piedmont Review, The Season
Magazine, Jezebel Magazine, Atlanta Sports & Fitness Magazine, Atlanta Now Magazine, Northside Neighbor, Lucky
Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, Star 94 FM, Q100 FM, TBS Movie & A Makeover, QTV and the new Ocean
Drive Atlanta Peach Magazine.

MR-PR also connected Blue MedSpa with its opening medical director and has solicited partnerships and alliances
with local hotels, restaurants, residential buildings, major charitable events, museums and businesses.

Challenge:
Dr. Laura Beaty left her position at a large internal medicine practice to start a solo concierge medicine practice with
the goal of attaining 300 patients. As one of several physicians in the former group, Dr. Beaty had no name recognition
or loyal following in the market. She utilized a marketing firm to gain exposure early in her new concierge practice, but
wanted public relations to help grow her business.

Solution:
By utilizing media relations, networking events and Influencer marketing, MR-PR was successful in spreading the
word of the first female physician-run concierge medical practice in Atlanta. Coverage generated by the six-month
media relations campaign includes Health & Fitness Magazine, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Jewish Times,
Sunday Paper, Fulton County Daily Report, Atlanta InTown, Business to Business Magazine, Atlanta Woman Magazine ,
NewYou Magazine, PaperCity Magazine, Piedmont Review Magazine, Points North Magazine, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles
Magazine, TV 11, Star 94 FM, Q100 FM and Radio Sandy Springs. Potential patients were introduced to Dr. Beaty
through a series of networking events that include a fundraiser with the Brandeis University's National Women's
Committee, Cool Girls, Inc., Atlanta Junior League, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Lifestyle event and direct influencer
marketing through a series of meetings with some of Atlanta's top influential people.

Dr. Beaty's patient total was under 20 when MR-PR began working with her. After a six month public relations campaign,
Dr. Beaty had grown her list of patients to nearly 130.

"My choice to use a publicist came only after being frustrated by multiple marketing endeavors.  Meg Reggie, the
person behind MR-PR, helped to launch my Concierge Medical Practice.  She provided the knowledge and personal
attention necessary to get my name and business in multiple local media publications.  My practice is now well-branded
in the current marketplace.  In large part, I owe this to Meg's talents.  MR-PR also helped organize several seamless
events both for both business and charitable affiliations.  I only wish I had chosen to go the PR route much sooner."
