Meg Reggie

Meg Reggie has 25 years of corporate, medical, retail, government, and consumer brand communications experience. Based in Atlanta the past 21 years, Meg is known best for creating, making and facilitating connections.

She began MR-PR in August, 2004, and enjoys a client list including Emeril’s Atlanta, Spanx by Sara Blakely, Aesthetic Specialists of Atlanta, Blue MedSpa, Byrd Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Center, Goldstein, Garber & Salama, Concierge Medical Practice, Red Twig Gallery, Judith Ripka at Tassels and T. Women’s Clothing.

A former television news reporter/anchor and prime time show host, Meg is an effective communicator with a vast social, civic, philanthropic, business and media network. An experienced message development and media training professional, Meg has worked with corporate executives to develop and implement communications strategy, targeted campaigns and branded events.

Most recently vice president of consumer brands at Edelman Atlanta, Meg worked with Fortune 100 companies and internationally-known brands to enhance reputation and increase product awareness. As director of marketing and public relations for Atlanta Magazine, in 1997, Meg launched the redesign of the monthly lifestyle publication and implemented a targeted communication plan, resulting in a measurable increase in advertising and circulation.

Before Atlanta Magazine, Meg served for ten years as a spokesperson and media relations specialist for Southern Company’s operating company, Georgia Power. She was director of public relations for Georgia Baptist Medical Center, where she organized a team of physician spokespersons that resulted in more than 100 positive medical stories in less than a year. Prior to that, Meg was press secretary to Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards, and founded the Association of State Communicators – an organization of all state agency public information officers.

Meg has served on the Boards of Breast Friends, Inc., DIFFA Atlanta, the Atlanta Press Club and The HAY Fund, and on the Advisory Boards of EarthShare of Georgia and Atlanta Woman Magazine. She was also public relations advisor to the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer and The American Cancer Society’s Cattle Barons’ Ball. Meg creates/supports about 24 charitable events each year, benefiting organizations such as Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition, Warrick Dunn Foundation’s Home for the Holidays, The Sara Blakely Foundation, Meals on Wheels Atlanta, Dress for Success and many more.
